Engr. F. Ajibade Oke, a registered engineer, Fellow of the Nigeria Society of Engineers (FNSE) and corporate member Nigerian Institute of Production Management attended St Joseph Catholic School, Igbara Oke, St Benedict Primary School, Isale Aro, Oshogbo, Ilesa Grammar School for his West African School Certificate and Government College Ibadan for his Higher School Certificates. He obtained a BSc Hons degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Lagos in 1972 and M. Eng in Production Engineering at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1984.

He joined Dunlop Nigeria Plc, as a Pupil Engineer in 1972, and rose steadily to become the Chief Engineer in 1985, a post which he held until he was appointed the Divisional Head, Tyre Marketing Division in July 1994. He joined the Board of Directors of Dunlop Nigeria Plc, in August 1995 as the Sales Director. (Tyres) until 1999 when he retired from the Board to become the Managing Director and Chief Executive of Jibok Engineering Limited. He was a Director of NASENG Nigeria Limited and the Managing Executive of Tamilore Associates.

From January 2007 to June 2008, he was the Executive Secretary of the Association of Consulting Engineers Nigeria, later becoming the Honorary Secretary. He was, the Honorary Treasurer of the Association from 2010 to 2013. In the years 2016 and 2017, he was the Special Adviser to the Executive Committee of ACEN representing the then President of the Association who became an Honorable Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He was again elected the Association’s Treasurer in 2018 and 2019 before becoming the Vice President in 2020 and 2021. He was the Chairman of The Editorial Committee for several years till middle of 2021.

He was chairman of many other committees like EGM and AGM planning committees, Investiture planning Committee and Committee on the Salary Structure of ACEN. He was also the chairman of Government College Old Boys Association from 2003 to 2005

He is a widely traveled Engineer with lots of experience in tyre manufacturing and rubber technology, as well as in the manufacture of carpets and floor tiles, chemical adhesives and paints. He was for many years responsible for the installation, commissioning and maintenance of the machinery for the production factory, along with services and utilities and civil engineering projects installation and commissioning He managed the expansion and modernization of the Car Radial Tyres production, a project that cost over five billionnaira.

Engr. Oke was a Western Nigeria Scholar, and has garnered numerous awards from the Nigeria Society of Engineers, Ikeja Branch, Government College Old Boys Association (Lagos branch as well as National body), Rotary International Club and District 9110, as well as the Association for Consulting Engineering in Nigeria (ACEN).

He is a Rotarian, a past Assistant Governor of Rotary (PAG). a past Chairman of District Conference Planning Committee of Rotary, for many years the Chairman of District Awards Committee and also for many years Chairman of the Rotary International Peace Fellowship Awards Committee.

He is a life member of Lagos Country Club, and a member of Ikoyi Club 1938.
